The third annual Western Canadian Children’s Heart Network (WCCHN) BoostUp Cardiac Pitch Competition was a phenomenal event and a huge success. This year WCCHN decided to look backwards and scooped up six previous All-Stars for a second shot at the win.

Basic Guidelines

  • Always use high-resolution versions
  • Maintain original aspect ratio — do not stretch, crop, or distort
  • Use with the phrase “sponsored by WCCHN” or “sponsored in part by WCCHN” where appropriate
  • Do not modify, recolour, or combine the logo with other graphics or text
  • Usage that suggests endorsement or collaboration must have prior written permission

WCCHN reserves the right to deny or revoke logo usage rights at its sole discretion.

How to Acknowledge WCCHN in Publications

If you are publishing research, presentations, or materials that use WCCHN data or other support, please include an acknowledgment to reflect the network’s contribution. This helps demonstrate the value of collaboration across Western Canada and ensures appropriate credit for shared data and systems.

Recommended Acknowledgment Statement

“Some or a portion of the data used in this project were provided by the Western Canadian Children’s Heart Network (WCCHN). The WCCHN is a regional initiative connecting pediatric cardiac programs across Western Canada to improve care, coordination, and outcomes for children with heart disease.”

Notes:

  • Acknowledgment language may be adapted depending on the type of support received.
  • WCCHN-affiliated authors are encouraged to list their affiliation as “Western Canadian Children’s Heart Network” when appropriate.
  • If a WCCHN logo is used (e.g., in a poster or presentation), please ensure it follow our Logo Usage Guidelines.
