Dr. Patrick Séguin

Dr. Patrick Séguin, MD, FRCPC, is a skilled anesthesiologist based in Edmonton, Alberta, with specialized expertise in pediatric cardiac anesthesia. After earning his medical degree from the University of Ottawa, he completed his anesthesia training in Saskatoon and a fellowship in pediatric general anesthesia at SickKids in Toronto. Following eight years of practice in pediatric general anesthesia, Dr. Séguin pursued advanced training in pediatric cardiac anesthesia, completing a fellowship in 2023-2024. He now focuses on pediatric cardiac and general anesthesia, pediatric liver transplants, and occasionally adult liver transplants, drawn to Edmonton for its complex patient population and practice opportunities. In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Séguin serves as an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Anesthesia at the University of Alberta.
