Dr. Lauren Ryan

Dr. Lauren Ryan is a pediatrician with advanced subspecialty training in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine and pediatric cardiac critical care. She earned her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Alberta and completed fellowship training in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine at the Stollery Children’s Hospital. Dr. Ryan pursued additional advanced training through an ECMO Fellowship, a Pediatric Cardiac Critical Care Medicine Fellowship, and an ASSIST Fellowship, further strengthening her expertise in the care of critically ill children with complex cardiac and multisystem conditions.

Dr. Ryan practices at Stollery Children’s Hospital, where she works as a Clinical Associate in the Pediatric and Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Units and serves as a Consultant on the ASSIST Team. She is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Canada in both Pediatrics and Critical Care Medicine. Known for her thoughtful, compassionate approach, Dr. Ryan prioritizes clear communication and family-centered care, supporting children and families through both routine and highly complex clinical situations.
