Biography

Dr. Kelsey Balutis is an Attending Physician and Pediatric Critical Care Ultrasound lead at the Stollery Children’s Hospital PCICU. Through her role, Dr. Balutis leads a multidisciplinary team to assess, diagnose and treat critically ill pediatric cardiac patients.

In addition to clinical activities, Dr. Balutis is an active educator, currently supervising pediatric critical care fellows and rotating elective off-service residents. She is also a member of numerous committees including the Canadian Point of Care Ultrasound Society and the PCICU Quality Council, and is the Pediatric Critical Care Ultrasound Curriculum Development Lead at the University of Alberta.
