Education

Dr. Muhieldin is an internationally (US, Canada, Europe) trained pediatric cardiothoracic surgeon with special expertise in complex neonatal surgery, cardiac assist device implantation and cardiac transplantation. He also has completed Leadership and Quality/Safety and Informatics training at Harvard Medical School.

Biography

Dr. Muhieldin comes to BCCH from the Stollery Children’s Hospital where he was leading the ECMO/ECPR and advanced support Simulation programs. Dr. Muhieldin brings attributes of collaboration, compassion and genuine warmth that complement his excellent surgical skills and will greatly benefit our teams and the patients and families we serve.
