Dr. Cheryl Peters

Dr. Cheryl Peters is a Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesiologist and Pediatric Intensivist at BC Children’s Hospital. Her dual role bridges the operating room and the intensive care unit, allowing her to lead initiatives that improve patient care across disciplines. Dr. Peters currently leads a WCCHN-endorsed quality improvement project focused on developing Pediatric Cardiac ICU guidelines, fostering collaboration and consistent practices among healthcare providers. She has secured seed funding for this important work. As a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of British Columbia, she is dedicated to advancing pediatric cardiac care through education, mentorship, and advocacy. Dr. Peters has shared her expertise nationally, including as a presenter at the 2024 Canadian Cardiovascular Congress.
