Biography

Dr. Steven Greenway is a Pediatric Cardiologist at the Alberta Children’s Hospital and the Providence Pediatric Cardiology Clinic in Calgary. After completing medical school at the University of Manitoba, Dr. Greenway completed residencies and fellowships at The Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto and Harvard Medical School. He specializes in heart function, cardiomyopathy, cardiac genetics and heart transplantation.

 

Dr Greenway’s research, which focuses on genomics, has been published in multiple journals. He is the lead of the Greenway Lab for Translational Research where he studies the application of next-generation sequencing to important clinical problems in pediatric cardiology. Outside of clinical and research activities, Dr. Greenway is involved in teaching at the University of Calgary Cumming School of Medicine as a Clinical Associate Professor.
