Biography

Dr. Ravneet Sekhon received her medical degree from the University of British Columbia before going on to complete pediatric residency training at the University of Ottawa followed by pediatric cardiology fellowship at the University of Alberta. She joined the Pediatric cardiology team at the Alberta Children’s Hospital in 2021.

As a researcher, Dr. Sekhon has been published in the Paediatrics & Child Health Journal and has been the recipient of awards including the Quinlan Patric Baxter Langen Award which supports research investigating the impact of malnutrition on the pediatric Fontan population.

Outside of a busy clinical and research schedule, Dr. Sekhon enjoys figure skating, reading novels, travelling, and photography.
