Dr. Chris Chin

Dr. Chris Chin is a Pediatric Anesthesiologist at BC Children’s Hospital. He completed his medical and anesthesiology training in London, UK, with additional subspecialty training completed in Pediatric and Cardiac Anesthesiology at Toronto Sick Children’s and Toronto General Hospitals, Canada. He previously held Consultant Pediatric Anaesthetist positions at the Royal London Hospital and the Evelina Children’s Hospital, London. Dr Chin strongly supports sustainable healthcare for children with cardiac disease in Low- and Middle-Income Countries and regularly volunteers to his free time to organizations providing these services.

Dr. Chin also has an interest in Simulation training in Healthcare, having previously served as the Associate Director of the Barts & London Simulation Centre (one of the first UK simulation centres when it opened in 2000). He is the Dept of Pediatric Anesthesia Simulation Lead at BC Children’s Hospital and has also run Simulation Instructor Training courses at several Simulation Centres across British Columbia.
