Dr. Rob Seal

Dr. Rob Seal is a Staff Anesthesiologist and the Director of Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesia at the Stollery Children’s Hospital. Born and raised in Edmonton, Dr. Seal completed his medical training at the University of Alberta, and subsequently completed residencies at hospitals in British Columbia and the United Kingdom.

Dr. Seal brings a tremendous amount of experience to his role. He was previously the Acting Regional Clinical Program Director (Anesthesia) with the Capital Health Region, and was also the Chief of the Department of Anesthesia at the Stollery Children’s Health Centre of Northern Alberta (from 1994 to 2000).

In addition to clinical activities, Dr. Seal is an active educator, currently serving as a Clinical Professor with the Department of Anesthesia and Pain Medicine (Faculty of Medicine, University of Alberta).
